Here Goes Nothin'...

...that's pretty much the attitude I've maintained with our move from New York City to Costa Rica. And I've decided to maintain this attitude with the start of this blog. As for the blog title, well, I've always felt like this statement is applicable for most anything exciting...and an adventure such as this one sure does seem to lend itself to excitement!

I've always loved the idea of a journal...but as my mother will quickly point out, I've never been one to actually keep up on such a habit (as evidenced by the slews of blank journals in my room). I love the concept of turning over a new blank page everyday...and hopefully I'll actually maintain this blog enough so that it feels like a journal. A place to record travel, photographs, art, and writing...a few of my favorite things. And who knows, maybe I'll keep it up long after we leave Costa Rica...but I won't make any promises of that sort just yet...

Hope you'll indulge me by following my ramblings...and hope I'll provide you with enough reason to want to come visit my little corner of the internet.
